I love ideas that make things run smoother at home.  Chores get done quicker and things stay cleaner with things always fingertip ready.

These are the things on the list that we have going on already:

Having a place for everything in the refrigerator

Have a box for your first aid supplies and medications

Keep a set of cleaning supplies in the bathroom and in the kitchen

Clean while you’re on the phone

The next time you line your trash can with a new bag, stick an old dryer sheet in the bottom and line the bin with all the trash bags at once

Which ones were your favorites, or maybe you have some other cool tricks up your sleeves that keep things running more efficiently?

Here’s a few of our homegrown ones….not sure how original they are, but they work for us.

Cord charging basket in the kitchen cabinet –Makes easy access to everything that I charge on a regular basis, and hides the cords.  Cords make me twitch.  I know, weird again.  Keeps my counters clear too.  If the counters are cluttered, it makes easy excuses to avoid food prep…not good.

Command hooks on the inside of my under the sink cabinets–neatly houses my little dustpan/broom for quick access of the daily messes from mealtimes, and my swiffer duster too!

Storing used plastic bags on both levels of the house –I love this because it makes it super easy for my big helpers to pitch in and empty trash cans and tie up those nasty diaper bombs.  I keep a box of those old bags in the linen closet and a box under the kitchen sink.
