So while we’re on the subject of books and reading and stuff, I have to share a real find in the book world. I first heard it mentioned here. Then, again in a ladies small group Bible study……
It ended up being on sale at Lifeway close to Mother’s Day, so I snagged a copy. So, so glad. It is by far my most favorite devotional I have ever done with my children. The cool thing is, we all pile on the bed and read it together….with Daddy-my most favorite time of the day.
Jesus Calling is written from the perspective of God, Himself, talking to you. I love that. It is so personal and the kids have really connected. Not just the kids. More often than not, it speaks to me exactly where I am that particular day. (I love how God does that.)
